From Kitchen Experiments to Culinary Legacy

Camille has been vegan for over forty years — long before it was trendy, easy, or convenient. Her creativity in the kitchen was born from necessity, crafting flavors that satisfied without compromise.

Her son, Deny, spent decades as a chef, mastering the art of the traditional gyro and earning a reputation for serving the best in Grand Rapids. Together, they set out on a challenge: could they recreate that same beloved flavor and texture — without meat, dairy, or sacrifice?

Seven years later, they did.

The result is a perfectly balanced plant-based gyro kit that pays homage to their shared passion: good food made with heart, care, and a deep respect for the planet we share.

More Ways to Gyro

Camille believes food should be as creative as you are. This gyro kit is only the start of something delicious!

Here are some of her other favorite ways to serve the product:

The **Original Gyro**
  • Any sandwich bread 
  • 1 or 2 slices of cheese (vegan or regular)
  • Layer of gyro plant-based product
  • Lettuce, tomato, and onion
  • Vegan mayo or regular mayo

Grill all ingredients in a pan or in a panini press.

Greek Salad

Combine the following ingredients in a bowl: 

  • Sauteed plant-based gyro product, chopped up
  • Lettuce, tomato, onion, Kalamata olives
  • Plant-based feta
  • Greek vegan dressing of your choice
French Dip
  • 3 sub buns
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 4 oz. plant-based gyro product
  • Vegan butter
  • 32 oz. vegetable broth

Put 1 tablespoon vegan butter melted in a medium size pan. Put sliced onions in pan and sauté until translucent. Pour the vegetable broth in pan and bring to a boil, then turn heat to a simmer. Add in gyro product and heat until hot. 

Butter your sub bun on both sides, and put onions and gyro product on one side. Close bun, cut in half, and put some juice from the pot in the same bowl. Dip your sub in and enjoy.

Tip: You can take any leftover broth and onions, mix a little corn starch in water and add the mixture to the broth. Heat up and thicken to make gravy for mashed potatoes. So good!

Quesadilla
  • Flour shell, any size.
  • Use a quesadilla maker or a pan
  • Cheese of your choice – regular or vegan
  • Layer of plant-based gyro product

Heat until cheese is melted. Serve with your choice of sauce or salsa. 

 

Breakfast Scramble
  • Sauté chopped gyro product in oil or vegan butter. Remove from pan.
  • In the same pan, scramble eggs or Just Egg.
  • Add your choice of chopped additional vegetables – bell pepper, onion, etc. 
  • Heat in pan quickly and top with cheese (vegan or regular).
Low-Carb Wraps
  • Low carb (or any tortilla) warmed
  • Layer of sauteed plant- based gyro product
  • Hummus, lettuce, tomato and onion
  • Plant- based feta

Roll up all ingredients and enjoy!

Pizza

Top your homemade or store-bought pizza dough with sauce and cheese of your choice. 

Top with sauteed, chopped plant-based gyro product (1 to 2 oz.).

Other topping suggestions: 

  • Feta (vegan or regular), 1 oz.
  • 8 Kalamata olives, sliced
  • Chopped red onion 
  • Chopped tomato 
  • Drizzle plant-based tzatziki over the top

Enjoy!

Hors d’oeuvres

Take a cracker or piece of small bread and add:

  • 1 teaspoon hummus
  • Small pieces of our plant-based product
  • Small pieces roasted red peppers
  • ½ slice of Kalamata olive
